DNA Info has recently put a call out to readers to help decide New York’s neighborhood boundaries. Participants are asked to choose a neighborhood, validate their “expertise” by stating how long they’ve lived there, and then draw the boundaries of that neighborhood to the best of their ability.
Once they collect enough responses, DNA Info will share the consensus of the various boundaries in the biggest city of the country.

People get passionate about the division between a neighborhood like Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side in Manhattan or Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights in Brooklyn.
